About me
Being born after the Original Trilogy had already been released, it was not until the return of Star Wars in cinemas with Episode I: The Phantom Menace that I discovered the Saga that would change my life. Immediately transfixed by the rich storytelling I had to learn everything about it, both in-universe and behind the scenes.
This led me to TeeKay-421, the Belgian Star Wars fanclub. and my involvement with all matters of the fanclub. From article writing and translating interviews, to becoming one of the chief editors and a core member of the organization involved with helping out and organizing events and conventions.
Many years of being active in the fan community meant that I made connections with people from Lucasfilm and eventually I was allowed to write articles and blogs for the official Star Wars website. With the 'What's the Story' contest on the official Star Wars website I was able to add official Star Wars lore by naming a character and writing his biography. This character is Niai Fieso, a character seen in The Phantom Menace. In the Autumn of 2013 Leland Chee and Jonathan Wilkins allowed me to take care of 'Rogues Gallery' in Star Wars Insider with two friends. In 'Rogues Gallery', I was once again able to name a series of background characters from the movies and give them short bios.
Since 2018 I have been writing articles about the filming locations for Journal of the Whills, part of the official Star Wars magazine in Germany. My articles about various aspects of Star Wars can also be found on Fantha Tracks.
I'm always interested in expanding my Star Wars (or affiliated) assignments.
